Introduction
Gunhee studied visual disciplines across different scales, from graphic design to architecture. His practice spans Editorial Design, UI/UX, Industrial Design, Interiors, Individual Buildings, and Master Planning.
Grounded in an understanding of diverse forms of art and culture — including fine art, music, dance, and film — Gunhee approaches each project as a synthesis of different cultural fields rather than through a single discipline. He considers each element as part of a wider cultural context, designing experiences in which details come together as a whole.
He also studied classical music from childhood and is also interested in House and House Techno. He often finds connections between seemingly different musical worlds, from César Franck’s Violin Sonata in A Major and Jayda G’s Boiler Room London set 2023, or
between Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in A minor, Op. 77 and the structure of Yousuke Yukimatsu’s DJ sets.
He is also a big fan of Benjamin Britten.
